How to use the radar

Use activity to prioritise review—not to justify a bid

01

Start with eligibility

Check mandatory experience, accreditations, insurance, financial thresholds, procurement access and submission rules before considering attractiveness.

02

Respect the deadline

A busy market can still contain poor prospects. Remove notices that leave insufficient time for clarification, partners, pricing, approvals and a compliant response.

03

Apply your boundaries

Compare services, sector evidence, geography, contract range, delivery capacity and exclusions. The largest category is not automatically your best market.

Methodology

A transparent view of the monitored corpus

The radar analyses current open notices ingested from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder. Each notice is assigned to one primary market using its procurement kind, title and official classifications. The same notice is not counted across multiple market rows.

“Published in 7 days” uses the official publication timestamp. “Closing in 7 days” uses the stated response deadline. Median values include positive stated GBP values only; missing values remain missing and are not estimated in this market report.

Counts describe notices visible in TenderWinnow at the refresh time. They are not measures of customer demand, addressable revenue, competition, supplier eligibility or likelihood of winning. Always verify the linked official notice and procurement documents.
